The parent company of the Sakthi group and one of its most successful members. It was set up by the founder P. Nachimuthu Gounder in 1931mainly for passenger transport.  The company has expanded and diversified its activities having 5 divisions provides direct / indirect employment to 10000 persons.

The division was having 150 vehicles, after nationalisation in 1970, there was substantial reduction in number of buses.
